This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. This training will focus on key areas which include respond to signs of an unconscious casualty, perform CPR, and how to successfully communicate the details of the incident. This training also incorporates the use of an Automated External Defibrillator.
