The 2 day confined space course focuses on the following units of competency:
RIIWHS202D Enter and Work in Confined Spaces. Ensures participants’ have the skills and knowledge required to enter and work in confined spaces in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries.
MSMPER205 Enter Confined Space- This covers the entry to confined spaces, for maintenance, servicing of vessels or other necessary reasons.
MSMPER200 Work in Accordance with an Issued Work Permit- Ensure that people working under a permit to work understand the system, know the limitations of the permit under which they are working and comply with all the requirements of the permit.
MSMWHS217 Gas Test Atmosphere- testing the working atmosphere to determine if it is safe for the proposed work
