This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to; identify work requirements, work procedures and instructions for the task, accessing and installing equipment, perform work at heights and cleaning up the work area. The training will also focus on the relevant legislation, gain an understanding of the basic use of equipment used in fall protection, maintenance and mandatory inspections (including harnesses) and maintenance checks on height safety equipment.
